5 O'Clock Music started in September 2001 for the benefit of putting out music from Strizzo. Dwayne's vision was to be a multi-genre label and full entertianment/management entity.
Back then, Dwayne and Strizzo were both in groups at the time. Dwayne was in a group named FORUM and Strizzo was in a group named "The Freak'em Down DJ's". Strizzo's name at the time was DJ Daddy Stro with his sidekick Bryd, DJ C-Naszte and Fraggle Rock.
The label started after both groups disbanded. At which time, Dwayne moved more into the business side of music, and Strizzo became a solo artist, experimenting with producing his own beats. The first release, "Whatcha Workin Wit" featured Tampa bay local artist Shytze and Jack P. The first successful release was "Low, Lowww Pt. 1". Strizzo's single was followed by "Low, Lowww Pt. 2", "Do Yo Dance", "Sweat", It's My Dawg's Birthday" and "Burn My Hit".
The roster has evolved into its current with its founding member Strizzo (Rapper, Producer, DJ, A&R), Shawty (R&B), Ray'Jozz (like Out"rageous": Rapper), Mike Medina (Soul/Gospel), Jsoule Tyrell (Soul/Gospel).
5 O'Clock Music has in house production from GetDown Headquarters (Strizzo) and Mestiso Beats. Between the two, we are able to cover Hip Hop, Latin, Club, Reggaeton, Pop, and more...

How is he going to sell where others won't. True artistry, and not a bad looking dude either. Brazil born, raised in New York, resident of Florida, Up and coming artist. What a confusion!

Laws has completed a full length project with the famed, grammy-award winning producers J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, that was hosted by DJ Smallz. (Download FREE here)
To date, his musical journey has been completly self guided. With assistance from his in-house production team, The Trackburnerz (L.A. and Feb 9), Laws continues to evolve. Judging from their production efforts on Laws latest mixtapes, Laws content has served for a great platform to showcase.
FUNKGHOST - Grand Extravagant Entertainment
The FunkghostShrouded in mystery, The Artist/Producer/Arranger/Songwriter/Actor/Business man known as Funkghost has remained somewhat of an enigma. A bonafide Tampa street legend, This Artist's body of work has influenced a generation of DJ's/ producers/rappers/singers from his region. In addition, the music has laid the foundation of Central Florida hip-hop.
In 2000, he dropped his classic Debut LP entitled "Ultra-Boogie Highlife". It remains a cult classic and hard to find gem. Only 20,000 Units were circulated. The "Morris Day of Rap" is back with his second full length LP entitled "Dirty But Sophisticated". "The Way I Rock My Clothes" is the first of two songs from the forthcoming album. It is available on his own imprint "Grand Extravagant Entertainment". The Video for the song was shot in January and can be viewed on Youtube.com. The video, co-produced by FunkGhost along with newcomer Jeff Osborne is being somewhat described as a mini movie. When asked, FunkGhost describes it as a "crime action melodramatic comedy".
The second song, “Vintage Futuristic” will be the official debut single and video released. The song was produced by G-Unit producer MPhases and written by Funkghost. The second video for the same song was also shot and co-produced by Jeff Osborne. The single will be available July 28th on iTunes and all digital purchase sites.
The album will follow this fall. While showing his growth as an artist and producer, expect the quality and attention to detail as his primary attributes. However, DO NOT expect the "expected". It is a departure from his "Utra-Boogie Highlife" LP. This might be his best work to date.

Michaela was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. A natural performer from a young age, she took the stage in local plays and productions in her home town. Michaela moved from the U.K. to the U.S at seventeen to pursue her dream of being a singer.
MICHAELA - Better Than You Think
After graduating with a Masters In 2005, Michaela began aggressively pursuing a singing career. She began modeling, while also writing and recording her own material. During this time, Michaela was connected with International House DJ/Producer Christian Dio. Three years later, the dance track “Don’t Let Go” was born in 2008.
Since then, she has also worked with an internationally acclaimed jazz pianist, Allon Sams. Together, they produced “Teardrops”. They also remixed “Don’t Let Go”, giving it a more retro sound. Michaela recently went back to her roots in the UK to gain a more ‘British’ sound to her music. She caught the eye of one of the UK’s biggest songwriter/producers: Simon Ellis. Simon and Michaela have written and recorded several songs that truly showcase her sound. While having strong pop vocals, the music is infused with organic rock and funk expression. The result of their work can be heard in the songs “Never Gonna Give In”, “Spinning Our Wheels” and “Better than That”.
With singing, songwriting and modeling experience, she has the talent, and the eye to be the total package. She is independently pursing the entertainment industry and is well off to a good start.

ConnXions is a non-profit Florida based organization created by DJ Ekin of 95.7 The Beat. ConnXions mission is to teach young people how to network, build, and sustain relationships. ConnXions is dedicated to inspiring youth of all ages to realize the power of relationship building and understanding how to develop their own personal touch in order to set and achieve goals while encouraging others to do the same. DJ Ekin has made a name for himself in the industry as one of the most diverse, hardworking, reliable, and energetic DJ’s around.
